Help / Build an exhibition
Build an exhibition
This guide is for organiser accounts — curators, project spaces, non-profits, collectives, festivals. (Artists track their own exhibitions in the same tab; this is the organiser's builder, which pulls in work from the artists you're connected to.)
Connect the artists first
An exhibition is built from artists who've granted you access. Before you build:
- Invite an artist from your dashboard — one Invite Organizer action sends them a link.
- When they accept, a connection is confirmed and their eligible work becomes available to you.
You only ever see what an artist has actually shared with you. Access is a revocable window, not a handover — either side can sever it, and when they do, the work stops appearing for you.
Assemble the show
- Open the Exhibitions tab and start a new exhibition.
- Set the title, venue and dates. An exhibition is Upcoming, Running or Ended — never
"closed".
- Add works from your connected artists. Each stays owned by its artist; you're arranging, not
copying.
Produce the outputs
From the Output tab you can generate the documents a show needs — checklists, a price list, a press-ready selection — built from the works you've assembled. See Export a price list.
What's public, and when
An organiser's public page shows confirmed connections and exhibitions that are running or past — upcoming shows are never public until they open. You decide what your public page says about the work you're arranging; the artist always controls their own.
